I really enjoyed using voicethread.com. The website was really easy and straightforward. The instructions was plain, simple, easy to locate, and follow. When I set up my account on Voice Thread I found it be easy. There wasn't any hassle or confusion. They were like you password needs to contain a lowercase and uppercase word with a special character. I could create my user name and password however I wanted to with all the extraness. Also I found it easy to upload pictures and easy to record on.
I did see value in using the website. I could use it for students to do projects. I could use the voice thread to enhance my lectures. I think the website is a unique way to get students involved and it would probably be something they would love to do. I did not encounter any problems when using the website it was very easy to use.
One way I could incorporate it with teaching is I can do a small skit with the political cartoons explaining what is going on in the cartoons, and how it pertains to the lesson. Sometimes I could also, use the students voices to reenact the cartoons to get their interpretation on and understanding of what the meanings are in the political cartoons. Then I can could explain while the cartoon is visible what it really means while observing my class making sure they have a better understanding of what they are learning. By doing this I am incorporating different learning styles to my students. Doing it this way can make learning easier and fun.
I found the website easy to use as well. I think that it can be very beneficial in the classroomn and offers a creative way to teach students. I enjoyed reading your ideas on how to incorporate the program in your classroom with your students.
